Who is recommended to get vaccinated?

HPV vaccination is included in the National Immunization Program and is provided free of charge to girls and boys aged 9 to 14 years inclusive.

  • For children 9–14 years old: administered a single dose of vaccine.
  • For girls aged 15 to 26: two doses, administered at an interval of 6 months.
  • For immunocompromised or HIV-infected people: two doses, at 6 month intervals.

Vaccination is carried out without prior testing for HPV infection. Refugees residing in the territory of the Republic of Moldova can be vaccinated free of charge, regardless of their insurance status.
